Rookie Pak wins Futures season opener

LAKELAND, Fla., March 13 (UPI) -- Jin Young Pak shot her second straight 3-under 69 Sunday to win the Lakeland Futures Golf Classic with a 54-hole total of 5-under 211.

Pak's fellow Korean, Young Yoo" class="tpstyle">Sun Young Yoo shot a 70 to finish in second place at 2-under 214.

Second-round leader Aimee Cho closed with a 77. She tied for third with Sasha Medina and Seon-Hwa Lee at even-par 216.

This tournament was Pak's first appearance on the Futures Tour.
