Ogilvy, Wetterich share Honda Classic lead

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., March 12 (UPI) -- Geoff Ogilvy shot an 8-under 64 on Saturday to move into a tie with Brett Wetterich for the lead after the third round of The Honda Classic.

Ogilvy, who got his first PGA Tour victory last month in Tucson, and 36-hole leader Brett Wetterich are at 12-under 204 after 54 holes.

Lee Janzen shared the lead with one hole to play. But the two-time U.S. Open champion bogeyed the 18th for a 72 to finish with Pat Perez at 11-under 205. Joe Ogilvie is fifth at 206.

Ogilvy was eight strokes behind Wetterich at the start of Saturday's round.

"I didn't really do anything wrong," said Ogilvy. "I hit the ball really well."

Fred Couples shot a six-under 66 to move into a tie for sixth with Robert Damron at 8-under 208.

World No. 2 Vijay Singh finished six shots off the lead in a group at 210.
