KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 12 (UPI) -- Ronald Ross scored 28 points Saturday to lead Texas Tech to a 69-63 upset over 17th-ranked Oklahoma in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament.

Jarrius Jackson added 22 points for fourth-seeded Texas Tech (20-9), which advanced to the Big 12 Tournament championship bout for the first time ever.

The Red Raiders will meet 11th-ranked Oklahoma State in Sunday's final.

Terrell Everett led Oklahoma with 15 points. The top-seeded Sooners (24-7) suffered their first defeat since a 68-65 lost at Missouri on Feb. 12.
