COL BKB: Big Sky Tournament

PORTLAND, Ore., March 9 (UPI) -- Kamarr Davis keyed a late surge Wednesday night and Montana held on to down Weber State, 63-61, in the title game of the Big Sky Tournament.

Davis scored 19 points to propel the third-seeded Grizzlies into the NCAA Tournament with an 18-12 record.

Davis made two free throws to open an 11-0 run that gave Montana a 10-point advantage with four minutes to play.

Matt Martin's two free throws gave Montana a four-point cushion with 14 seconds later only to have Weber State convert a three-point shot.

Davis made one of two free throws with three seconds left and a three-point attempt by Weber State's Jamaal Jenkins at the buzzer failed to go.

Lance Allred led Weber State with 21 points.
