EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., March 8 (UPI) -- Former Atlanta Falcons kicker Jay Feeley signed Tuesday with the New York Giants.

Feely played his entire career with Atlanta since joining the Falcons as a free agent in 2001. He was made 18-of-23 field-goal attempts last season and made all 40 PAT tries.

Feely, 28, will become the Giant's third Opening Day starter in as many years. He will replace Steve Christie who made 22-of-28 field-goal attempts and all 33 PAT tries in 2004.

Feely became expendable when the Falcons signed veteran kicker Todd Peterson.
