Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

OWINGS MILLS, Md., March 7 (UPI) -- Free agent cornerback Samari Rolle agreed Monday to a six-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens.
Rolle, one of the Tennessee Titans' top cornerbacks, would have counted for $10 million against the salary cap in 2005. He played each of his first seven NFL seasons with Tennessee.
Rolle, released by the Titans last month, also was arrested on domestic assault charges.
Rolle has 23 career interceptions.
The former Florida State star was a second-round pick by the Titans in 1998. He helped Tennessee reach the Super Bowl after the 1999 season and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2000 when he tied for the AFC lead with seven interceptions.
