COL BKB: Washington 106, California 73

BERKELEY, Calif., March 3 (UPI) -- Bobby Jones, Tre Simmons and Nate Robinson all reached the 20-point mark Thursday night as No. 10 Washington crushed California, 106-73.

The Huskies, winners of four in a row, moved into a share of the Pac-10 Conference lead with Arizona at 14-3.


Washington closes out its regular season Saturday at Stanford and Arizona will conclude at Arizona State. If both win, or if both lose, they will share the league crown.

Jones had 22 points, Robinson 21 and Simmons 20 in helping the Huskies improve to 24-4 for the year. Washington shot 51 percent from the field and made 16 of 30 three-point attempts while dominating throughout.

California (12-15, 5-12) was led by Rod Benson with 18.
