NBA: San Antonio 101, New Orleans 78

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan had 19 points Wednesday night and San Antonio pulled away in the fourth period for a 101-78 win over New Orleans.

Manu Ginobili added 13 points for the Spurs while Tony Parker, Malik Rose and Rasho Nesterovic all had 12.

New Orleans was led by J.R. Smith's career-best 25 points.

San Antonio had an eight-point halftime lead and a nine-point advantage after three quarters. The Spurs then dominated the final period.
