NBA: Memphis 88, Portland 82

MEMPHIS, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Brian Cardinal put Memphis ahead with 2:58 remaining Friday night and the Grizzlies went on to down Portland, 88-82.

Memphis trailed by as many as seven in the fourth quarter before rallying for their eighth win in 10 games.

Stromile Swift led the Grizzlies with 23 points and Mike Miller had 22. Miller hit a three-pointer with 29 seconds left to give Memphis a five-point advantage.

Memphis went in front by a point thanks to an 8-0 run and Cardinal's three-pointer gave the Grizzlies the lead for good.

Zach Randolph scored 26 for the Trail Blazers.
