Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- New England Coach Bill Belichick said Wednesday he expects defensive end Richard Seymour to play in the Super Bowl Sunday.
Seymour has missed the Patriots' last three games -- two of them playoff contests -- with a knee injury.
But he went through Wednesday's practice at full speed.
"He did everything we asked him to do, so he's good to go," Belichick said.
Seymour was injured on Dec. 26 against the New York Jets. He has been named to this season's AFC Pro Bowl team.
