Keith Langford added 17 points for the Jayhawks (16-1, 6-0 Big 12), who are 6-0 in conference play for the first time since the 2001-02 team became the first in league history to go undefeated during the Big 12 regular season.
Daniel Gibson scored 19 points to lead the Longhorns (15-5, 4-3), who have dropped two of three.
Kansas Coach Bill Self got his first-ever win over Texas. He entered the game with an 0-4 career mark against the Longhorns, including two losses since joining the Jayhawks.
