CINCINNATI, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- The No. 20-ranked Cincinnati Bearcats were victorious Saturday over the Houston Cougars, 87-68, at Fifth Third Arena, in Cincinnati.

James White scored a team-high 25 points and had 10 rebounds for the Bearcats, while Jason Maxiell and Nick Williams each netted 14 points and Eric Hicks scored 11 points. Maxiell had 10 rebounds and blocked eight shots.

For the Cougars, Andre Owens had 26 points, while Lanny Smith scored 20 points.
