LA QUINTA, Calif., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Joe Ogilvie stayed hot Friday with a 6-under 66 that kept him two shots in front with two rounds to play at the Bob Hope Classic.

Ogilvie played at the Tamarisk Country Club, one of four courses used for this pro-amateur format tournament. He reached 23-under 193 for 54 holes of the five-day event.

Australian Peter Lonard shot a 64 at Tamarisk to stand at 195 while Fredrik Jacobson of Sweden had a 67 -- also at Tamarisk -- for a 197.

Bermuda Dunes, La Quinta and the PGA West Palmer Course are also being used for this year's tournament.

Robert Damron, Jerry Kelly and Ryuji Imada shared fourth place at 199 while Phil Mickelson, Davis Love III and Craig Stadler were among those at 200.

Love had the best round of the week, an 11-under 61.

Bill Haas, son of Jay Haas, was among those tied for 13th at 201. The younger Haas, playing on a sponsor's exemption, could take a large step toward earning his PGA Tour card this week.
