NBA: Houston 89, Orlando 78

HOUSTON, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Houston's towering Yao Ming had 22 points and 10 rebounds Monday night when the Rockets posted an 89-78 victory over the Orlando Magic.

Jon Barry added a season-high 19 points for the Rockets, who won their third straight.

Houston all-star guard Tracy McGrady missed the game because of to a medical emergency in his family. McGrady spent the previous four seasons in Orlando before being traded to Houston for Steve Francis.

Francis, returning to Houston for the first time since the trade, had 23 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.
