NEW YORK, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb and New England linebacker Tedy Bruschi were among those named Wednesday to weekly NFL player honors.

McNabb was the Offensive Player of the Week after completing 22 of 33 passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' 27-14 win over Minnesota in an NFC divisional playoff contest.

It is the fifth-career Player of the Week Award for McNabb and his second this season.

Bruschi was named the top defensive player. Bruschi made eight tackles, forced one fumble and made two fumble recoveries as the Patriots dumped the Indianapolis Colts, 20-3.

Atlanta kick returner Allen Rossum was named for special teams after setting an NFL playoff record with 152 yards on three punt returns in the Falcons' 47-17 decimation of the St. Louis Rams.

One of his returns was for a 68-yard touchdown.

It is the third-career Player of the Week Award for the seven-year veteran from Notre Dame.
