Marcus Vick back at Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURG, Va., Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Quarterback Marcus Vick, younger brother of Atlanta star Michael Vick, has returned to Virginia Tech and is back on the football team after missing the 2004 season.

Marcus Vick was suspended indefinitely from the team in August after being charged with reckless driving and possession of marijuana. That happened just weeks after Vick pleaded no contest to criminal charges stemming from a drinking party with teenage girls.

Marcus Vick threw for 475 yards and two touchdowns in 11 games as a redshirt sophomore in 2003. He also threw five interceptions, while rushing for 102 yards on 37 attempts.
