COL BKB: Washington 77, Oregon 56

SEATTLE, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Bobby Jones and Tre Simmons scored 15 points apiece Thursday night and Washington got off to a quick start in drubbing Oregon, 77-56.

The 14th-ranked Huskies began the game with a 21-3 run, led by 11 at the half and scored a dozen straight points early in the second period.

Washington improved to 14-2 and to 4-1 in the Pac-10.

Oregon (10-3, 2-2) was led by Bryce Taylor with 16. It was the 16th straight home win for the Huskies.
