SACRAMENTO, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Peja Stojakovic scored 27 points for Sacramento in a 109-100 win over the Denver Nuggets Tuesday.

Mike Bibby added 18 points and Kevin Martin 17 for the Kings.

Sacramento went on a late 7-0 run and used free throws to stay in front the rest of the way.

Kenyon Martin led the Nuggets with 17 points. Andre Miller and Carmelo Anthony had 16 each.

Denver has lost five straight games.
