CHARLESTON, W.Va., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- A.W. Hamilton scored 17 points Tuesday to help lead the Marshall Thundering Herd to a 59-55 upset over the 24th-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers.
Ronny Dawn added 15 points for the Herd (3-10) which ended a four-game losing streak.

The Mountaineers (11-2) lost for the second time in less than seven days.
D'or Fischer had 20 points and nine rebounds and Tyron Sally 13 points in the neutral site loss as well.
