HOUSTON, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Shawn Marion helped keep Houston at bay with 15 fourth-quarter points Wednesday night as Phoenix downed the Rockets, 108-98.

Marion had 22 points overall in boosting Phoenix to its fourth straight victory. Quentin Richardson added 18 and Joe Johnson had 17.

The Suns made 15 of 34 shots from three-point range.

Houston had a three-game winning streak come to an end. Tracy McGrady paced the Rockets with 24 and Yao Ming had 14.

The Rockets trailed by 15 points midway through the final quarter, then climbed back within nine with 3:30 to go.

Marion hit three field goals in a span of two minutes to halt Houston's comeback bid.
