NFL: NY Giants 28, Dallas 24

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Tiki Barber became the New York Giants all-time single-season and career rushing leader Sunday night while leading them to a 28-24 win over Dallas.

Barber also scored the winning touchdown with only 11 seconds left.

Barber had 95 yards on 24 carries and finished the season with 1,518 rushing yards, which surpasses Joe Morris' previous single-season mark of 1,516 set in 1986.

Barber also now has 7,627 career rushing yards and passed Rodney Hampton's prior mark of 6,987 yards.

Eli Manning was 18-of-27 for 144 yards with three touchdowns and an interception to earn his first win as a starter as the Giants (6-10) put an end to an eight-game losing streak.

Vinny Testaverde was 23-of-30 for 231 yards with a touchdown for the Cowboys (6-10). Julius Jones rushed for 149 yards and scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
