DENVER, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Jake Plummer threw for two touchdowns and ran for another Sunday as the Denver Broncos earned a post-season berth with a 33-14 win over Indianapolis.

The Broncos (10-6) earned the sixth seed in the AFC and a trip to Indianapolis to face the Colts in a rematch next Sunday at 1 p.m. (et).

Last year, Indianapolis beat Denver 41-10 in the first round of the playoffs.

The Colts (12-4) failed in a bid to tie a franchise record for most victories in a season, but their playoff spot was already determined..

Colts quarterback Peyton Manning played the first series of the game, going 1-for-2 for six yards before Indianapolis was forced to punt and then sat out the rest of the game.

Plummer had 246 yards passing.
