Tommie Harris' wife dies

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Rashard Lewis scored 27 points Friday night and Seattle overcame a big game from Emeka Okafor to defeat Charlotte, 103-97.
Vladimir Radmanovic added 21, Ray Allen had 18 and Antonio Daniels 10 to help give the SuperSonics their fourth win in five games. It was Seattle's fifth straight victory on the road.
Okafor recorded a career-high 27 points and had his 18th consecutive double-double.
Charlotte battled the Sonics on even terms through three quarters, but Seattle opened the fourth period with a 10-4 run.
