NBA: Sacramento 109, Utah 102

SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Peja Stojakovic scored 26 points Friday night and Sacramento used a big third quarter to defeat Utah, 109-102.

Chris Webber added 25, Mike Bibby had 17 and Brad Miller 17 as the Kings halted a two-game losing streak.

Utah, which has lost four straight, was led by 25 points from Carlos Boozer.

The game was tied at halftime, but Sacramento took control with a 10-0 run in the third period. The Kings outscored the Jazz by nine in the third quarter and held onto that margin for most of the fourth.

It was the ninth straight victory for Sacramento in Salt Lake City.
