TUCSON, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Chris Rodgers equaled his career best with 20 points Thursday night as No. 14 Arizona won the Fiesta Bowl Classic with an 84-71 decision over Richmond.
Arizona (10-2) won its seventh straight with Ivan Radenovic and Salim Stoudamire adding 16 points each.
Richmond (5-5) lost for the fifth time in seven games. Jamaal Scott led the Spiders with 16.
Arizona dominated throughout, building a 25-point lead midway through the second half.
