KETTERING, Ohio, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Justin Smith has pleaded guilty in Kettering, Ohio, to operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

He was arrested after a deputy saw him drift to the edge of his lane repeatedly on a state highway last October, the Dayton Daily News reported.

Smith will go to a three-day weekend intervention program in lieu of jail time and will be fined $300, the report said.

His license will be suspended for six months, dating back to the October arrest, said his attorney David Jablinski.
