OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 28 (UPI) -- The Golden State Warriors defeated the Denver Nuggets 104-101 with a late rally Monday.

Mickael Pietrus scored 24 points, Jason Richardson 18 and Troy Murphy 16 for the Warriors, who blew a 14 point lead and then had to come from seven behind to win.

Andre Miller led the Nuggets with 21 points. Denver played without stars Carmelo Anthony and Kenyon Martin, both injured.

The Warriors have won three straight for the first time this season.
