CHICAGO, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- The Chicago Bears Wednesday placed all-pro linebacker Brian Urlacher on the season-ending injured reserve list with a hamstring injury.
Urlacher, who has been plagued by injuries the whole season, started just nine games, but had 104 tackles, five sacks, and one interception. He also had two forced fumbles.

The 2000 first-round pick missed the entire preseason that year and two regular season games with a pulled right hamstring sustained on the first day of training camp.
The Bears are 5-4 with him in the lineup and 0-5 in games he missed because of injuries.
