TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Kennedy Winston had 24 points Wednesday night and Alabama pulled away in the second half for a 76-54 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

It was the sixth straight victory for No. 14 Alabama (10-1). Earnest Shelton added 19 points and Chuck Davis had 10.

The Islanders (7-2) had won five in a row in what is their first season in Division I. They were led by Aaron White with 13 points.

Alabama led by just eight at the break.
