NBA: Washington 103, Golden State 101

OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Gilbert Arenas scored on a layup with less than a second to play and gave Washington a 103-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors Monday.

Arenas led the Wizards with 29 points and Larry Hughes added 25.

Jason Richardson scored 26 points and Speedy Claxton 17 for Golden State.

The Warriors had trailed by 14 points but rallied late in the game to tie it at 101-101.
