EAST LANSING, Mich., Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Paul Davis and Chris Hill scored 18 and 15 points respectively Tuesday as 20th-ranked Michigan State posted a 76-64 victory over UCLA.

The Spartans (7-2) picked up their fourth straight triumph.

Josh Shipp scored 18 points ande Dijon Thompson had 15 points and 11 rebounds, for UCLA (6-2).

Jordan Farmar's basket at the 8:46 mark of the first half gave UCLA to a 25-23 lead, but Michigan State put together a 14-1 run to open a 37-26 edge with 4:21 to go in the half.
