COL BKB: Washington 68, N.C. State 64

SEATTLE, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Will Conroy and Tre Simmons each scored 12 points Sunday night as 20th-ranked Washington posted a 68-64 victory over 9th-ranked North Carolina State.

Simmons also had six rebounds for the Huskies (8-1), who have won four in a row.

Nate Robinson, who was averaging 22.5 points per game, had only seven for Washington.

Cameron Bennerman led the Wolfpack with 16 points. Julius Hodge had 15 points and Andrew Brackman added 14 for North Carolina State (8-1), which suffered its first loss of the season.
