COL BKB: Oklahoma State 79, UNLV 67

No. 4 ranked Oklahoma State notched a convincing 79-67 victory over the University of Nevada at Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Showdown Saturday.

John Lucas and Ivan McFarlin each scored 17 points for the unbeaten Cowboys (8-0).

For the Runnin' Rebels, Romel Beck scored a game-high 25 points and Jerel Blassingame had 17 points.

The Cowboys led 40-26 at the half, but the Runnin' Rebels whittled that to seven points. However, the Cowboys scored eight of the game's final 12 points for the win.
