Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

DENVER, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- The National Football League fined Denver quarterback Jake Plummer $5,000 Friday.
Plummer made an obscene gesture toward Denver fans during the Broncos' 20-17 win over Miami last Sunday.
He was being booed at the time because of an interception. Plummer apologized for his actions.
Plummer has thrown six interceptions in his last two games with no touchdown passes.
