NBA: Chicago 96, Memphis 88

MEMPHIS, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Eddy Curry delivered 20 points and Kirk Hinrich had 15 Wednesday night as Chicago downed Memphis, 96-88.

The Bulls won on the road for just the second time this season.


Ben Gordon contributed 15 points for Chicago and Memphis was led by 24 from Pau Gasol.

The Bulls led by one going into the final period and Hinrich keyed a surge that helped Chicago build an 11-point cushion. Memphis came no closer than seven the rest of the way.

Chicago won without Coach Scott Skiles, who was kicked out of the game late in the second period.
