Marvin Harrison signs long-term contract

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Marvin Harrison reportedly signed a contract extension with Indianapolis Wednesday -- a deal ESPN said was worth $67 for seven years.

The Colts declined comment.

Harrison, who has teamed with quarterback Peyton Manning to become one of the best pass-catch combinations in the history of the NFL, has 67 receptions this year with 12 touchdowns.

He is in his ninth season in the NFL and has made the Pro Bowl five times. He has caught 826 passes during his pro career for 10,942 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Harrison's 143 catches in 2002 established a single-season NFL record.
