INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Kicker Martin Gramatica, who was released by Tampa Bay last month, was signed by Indianapolis Wednesday.
Gramatica will handle only kickoffs with the Colts, who have one of the NFL's top place kickers in Mike Vanderjagt.
After making a 53-yard field goal attempt in the fifth week of the season, Gramatica missed seven of his next nine tries. Gramatica missed two attempts and had another one blocked against Carolina on Nov. 28, two days before the Buccaneers released him.
