ST. LOUIS, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Steven Jackson rushed for 119 yards and Jeff Wilkins had three field goals Sunday as the St. Louis Rams posted a 16-6 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Chris Chandler, filling in for injured Marc Bulger at quarterback, completed 18 of 27 passes for 216 yards with a touchdown throw to Torry Holt. He was intercepted once.

Holt caught 10 passes for 160 yards.

The Rams (6-6) won for just the second time in their last six games.

Bulger was sacked by Bryant Young late in the first quarter and was taken for X-rays, which came back negative. He was diagnosed with a shoulder sprain.

Todd Peterson kicked two field goals to account for San Francisco's only points. The 49ers are now 1-11.
