NItties leads Estes by 1 in Australia PGA

COOLUM, Australia, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Twenty-two-year-old rookie James Nitties held a one-shot lead over American Bob Estes Saturday after three rounds of the Australian PGA Championship.

The young Australian shot a 2-under-par 70 for a 54-hole score of 14-under 202.

Estes also had 70 for 203.

Defending champion Peter Senior, Corey Pavin and Peter O'Malley were another shot back.
