Jason Kidd set to return

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 4 (UPI) -- New Jersey guard Jason Kidd went through his first practice in more than four months Friday and team officials said he might be able to play Monday.

Kidd had knee surgery on July 1. He has been on the injured list all season.

Another practice is scheduled prior to the Nets playing Toronto Monday and if he makes it through that session with no problems, he will likely suit up against the Raptors.

New Jersey has struggled to a 3-12 record this season.
