Marshall to play Cincinnati in Fort Worth

HUNTINGTON, W.Va., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Marshall accepted a bid Tuesday to play in the Fort Worth Bowl on Dec. 23 against Cincinnati.

Marshall, a Mid-American Conference school, took the bowl spot normally reserved for a Big 12 member after the conference couldn't produce enough bowl eligible teams.
