JEJU ISLAND, South Korea, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Miguel Angel Jimenez of Spain had a 3-under 69 Saturday to take a one-stroke lead after 54 holes at the inaugural Shinhan Korea Golf Championship.
Jimenez, 40, stands at 2-under 214 after three rounds.
Arron Oberholser shot a 70 to move into second place at 215. Brian Bateman shares third place with Kevin Na at even-par 216. Daniel Chopra and J.J. Henry are two strokes further back.
Jimenez began the day four strokes behind second-round leader Yong-Eun Yang. The Spaniard had a bogey at the first hole but had birdies at two and three.
Jimenez had another bogey at the fourth but the 11-time winner on the European Tour had birdies at No. 8 and and No. 9.
Oberholser was tied at plus-one with Jimenez to begin the day .
Joe Ogilvie and Tim Petrovic each shot 72 to share seventh place with Irishman Padraig Harrington (76) at 3-over 219.
