Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Washington Wizards Coach Eddie Jordan is hospitalized with a blood clot in his left leg, the team announced Friday.
Ernie Grunfield, the team's president of basketball operations, said Jordan would be hospitalized two to three days for observation and treatment.
Assistant Mike O'Koren is coaching the team in Jordan's absence.
Grunfeld said Jordan is expected to return Wednesday for a game against the New Jersey Nets after missing two games -- Friday at Philadelphia and Sunday at Toronto.

Jordan is in his second season with the Wizards. He formerly coached the Sacramento Kings.
