COL BKB: Notre Dame 73, IUPU Fort Wayne 45

SOUTH BEND, Ind., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- The No. 21 Notre Dame Fighting irish posted a 73-45 victory Tuesday night over IUPU-Fort Wayne.

Chris Quinn had 15 points, Dennis Latimore 12 points and 11 rebounds, Torin Francis 11 points and seven rebounds, and Chris Thomas 10 points for the Fighting Irish (2-0).


Beau Bauer, the only scorer in double figures for the losers, had 12 points for the Mastodons (2-2), who had a two-game winning streak snapped.

Notre Dame opened the game with a 12-0 run, hitting five of its first eight shots in the opening 5:29 of play. Notre Dame led by as many as 33 late in the game.
