WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Annika Sorenstam bogeyed the first hole of a playoff Sunday but still won her third ADT Championship as she beat Cristie Kerr for her eighth 2004 win.

Sorenstam shot a 3-under 69 to tie Kerr after 72 holes at 13-under 275.

On the first playoff hole, Kerr messed up on the first playoff hole with an approach shot into the water. Sorenstam missed the green but chipped to seven feet and two-putted for a bogey and the win.

Sorenstam also won this event in a playoff in 1997.

Karrie Webb and Carin Koch shared third place at 8-under 280. Jennifer Rosales, who played with Sorenstam in the final round, shot a 74 to finish six shots off the pace at 7-under 281.
