Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
SEATTLE, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Brandon Roy scored 23 points Friday night as No. 24 Washington began its season with an 89-71 win over Seattle-Pacific.
Washington played without four players suspended for taking part in an organized basketball competition during the summer. The Huskies had just six scholarship players available.
Nate Robinson added 22 points and Mike Jensen scored 14 for Washington.
The Falcons were led by Jordan Lee's 22 points.
