Marino, Young a step nearer Hall of Fame

CANTON, Ohio, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Star quarterbacks Dan Marino and Steve Young were among the 25 semifinalists named Friday for possible induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The list announced Friday was one that had been trimmed from the original 90 candidates. A further reduction will be made in January to 13, from which the 2005 group of inductees will be selected.
