LOS ANGELES, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Maria Sharapova came from behind and won the WTA Tour Championship Monday over Serena Williams.
The Russian teenager won 4-6, 6-2, 6-4. She trailed 4-0 in the third set but battled back to overcome the American.

Sharapova has beaten Williams in two of three matches. The other victory was in the Wimbledon final this year.
