CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Frank Gore rushed for 195 yards and a TD and Roscoe Parrish had two TDs in the fourth quarter Saturday as No. 17 Miami-Florida beat No. 11 Virginia, 31-21.

Parrish's touchdowns -- on a 62-yard punt return and a 25-yard catch -- sealed the win for the Miami (7-2, 4-2 ACC).

Miami quarterback Brock Berlin, the ACC's passing touchdowns leader coming in, threw for 177 yards and a pair of TDs.

Alvin Pearman rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown for the Cavaliers (7-2, 4-2), whose only other loss of the season was a 36-3 setback to No. 12 Florida State.

Virginia quarterback Marques Hagans was just 10-of-25 passing for 94 yards but also rushed nine times for 85 yards.

Virginia pulled within 24-21 with less than four minutes to play, but Miami put the game away with just 51 seconds left.
