COL FB: Florida St. 17, N.C. St. 10

RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 11 (UPI) -- A four-yard run by Lorenzo Booker gave Florida State the lead in the third quarter Thursday night en route to a 17-10 win over North Carolina State.

The victory was the 350th in the coaching career of Bobby Bowden. He became the first coach in Division I-A to reach that level, having guided his teams to 28 straight winning seasons.

The Seminoles rallied from a 10-point deficit and improved to 8-2 for the season. They completed Atlantic Coast Conference play at 6-2 and will close the regular season next week against Florida.

Wyatt Sexton, in his first start, completed only five of 18 passes for 73 yards. Leon Washington added 67 rushing yards for Florida State.

North Carolina State took a 10-0 lead on an 87-yard punt return by Darrell Blackman.
